Tom has done what most people only dream of doing. After earning his degree in marketing from the University of Georgia, Tom spent some time in the corporate world working in sales and marketing before he had an idea. He wanted to make a change, so he moved to the Virgin Islands and worked for several years in the jewelry business - Starting of in sales, he quickly worked his way into store management and spent his winters managing stores in St. Thomas and summers managing stores in South East Alaska (Juneau and Skagway). After that, he embarked on another adventure of world travels in the cruise ship industry, handling promotions and marketing for retail shops in the different ports of call the ships called on. When he returned home to Georgia and earned his real estate license in 2004, he used those same sales and marketing talents to become a top-performing, consistent award winner, with sales ranking in the top 10% year after year.

Tom serves buyers and sellers in Gwinnett, Hall, Forsyth and Dawson counties from the 400 North/Lake Lanier office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. He specializes in waterfront homes on Lake Lanier. Together with his wife Kathalee, who is also an agent, he formed The Peters Realty Group in 2017.
